Minha Kauser is the Founder and Chief Editor of Winning Essays, LLC. Since 2011, she has been helping students create winning essays to get into their dream college; edit resumes to help people land their dream job; and, edit books to help authors publish their dream books. 

Students she has worked with have won admission to these universities: American, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, GW, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, McGill, MIT, NYU, Olin, Reed, Ritsumeikan, Stanford, Syracuse, U-Cal, U-Illinois, U-Maryland, U-Michigan, UNC-Chapel Hill, UVA, VA Tech and many more. Minha enjoys getting to know her clients. In addition to helping students, she has helped many job seekers polish their resumes to land their dream jobs in the DC area and beyond. As a writer, Minha hopes to publish her own books one day. Till then, she enjoys editing books and has helped edit books for a few authors who have won awards for their books, including Ndaa Hassan, Omar Khawaja, Suad Sultan, and Adeeba Jafri.

Before Winning Essays, Minha taught World Geography and History to freshmen in high school. She also loved teaching fourth grade at Washington International School during COVID and enjoyed teaching French to sixth graders in Falls Church City, VA. She still keeps a foot in the classroom, whether as a teacher, substitute teacher or tutor. Minha tutors students in grades 4-12 on how to write with excellence, offers writing webinars, and a seven-course writing workshop, as well as, vocabulary and reading comprehension support. Teaching is her passion. She believes education is the key to a brighter world. Her mission is to inspire in her students a love of learning, the world, and humankind. Minha grew up attending international schools in seven countries across four continents. She graduated from The Ursuline School in New Rochelle, NY and earned her Bachelors degree with Honors in International Development and Economics from American University in Washington, D.C. During college, she won a scholarship to study abroad with the School for International Training in Geneva, Switzerland. Later, Minha received her Masters in Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA and a second Masters in Education from Simmons College in Boston, MA with a focus on teaching History and Political Science. 

Those who know Minha well describe her as: friendly, honest, positive, calm, and always willing to help. Minha has been editing essays, resumes, curricula, reports, websites, and books for students, individuals, businesses, organizations, and authors around the world for the last 13 years. For her, the most important ingredient in any writing, be it essay or book, is that it is memorable. She will work hard to make sure it is.
